Automation and safety of the heating system

The tasks that the heating system solves in a private household are to maintain the temperature in household and residential premises using radiators. Automatic control systems make it possible to regulate the temperature in residential and non-residential premises around the clock without human intervention.

Automated nodes maintain a stable temperature in the premises. This ensures economical use of resources, and the system pays for itself within a few years. Most often used:

Thermostats.
Various sensors

Such devices track temperature fluctuations online and transmit information to the heating unit: which temperature mode is best to switch to. Work takes place around the clock during the cold season, so the savings are significant (up to 20% in some cases). Small automatic valves installed on batteries are also important, they reduce energy consumption by up to 7%.

Working procedure

Automatic units adjust the temperature depending on:

Time of day;

Are there any owners in the house;

The change in the weather on the street

You can control the temperature in the house even from another city or country using a smartphone, if you put the appropriate GSM devices.

Automation units make it possible to reduce the temperature regime in non-residential premises at night, which is very important, reducing the temperature by one degree leads to savings of up to 7%.

In residential areas, such devices can also be installed, using a timer, it will “monitor” when the evening or night hours come and gives the command to reduce or increase the temperature.

If there is no one in the house, the automatic heating system will work to reduce the temperature regime throughout the object. This will result in significant savings over the next few years, and the system will eventually pay for itself.

Types of automatic devices

When regulating the temperature in heating circuits, use

two-position control units (thermostats)

smooth control units (thermal sensors)

The first devices are used to track the temperature constant, regulating the operation of the boiler, which is switched off/on at the right time. In terms of reliability, these devices are superior to all other designs, providing savings of up to 20%, maintaining a comfortable microclimate around the clock. They are most often used in small apartments and private homes.

Thermal sensors are more fine – tuned devices. They are fixed in a single tandem with the steam boiler system, transmitting a temperature indicator that automatically selects the desired water mode in the circuit.

The most serious problem in terms of safety is the design of radiators. It is important that they have internal anti-corrosion protection, its absence leads to rapid damage to the device. When buying, it is recommended to pay attention to the presence of internal heating treatment. It is better to buy equipment only from well-known and trusted manufacturers.
